Another picture of Pilot following us on our walk. I wish I knew what was going through his head. Is he just trying to see where we are going? Does he want to join in on our adventure? Is he trying to protect us? Either way, he’s a sweetie.

My kitties do this
In fact, we had to turn around last time we were walking up to the main road, because we don’t want to teach them dangerous tricks. They mostly stick to the forest around the house, with only a tiny one-way lane cut through it, and have no experience of car traffic. One day Leo actually *lay* in the lane while our neighbor honked her horn at him — to no avail! She finally got out of the car and shooed him away so she could get to her driveway.
