All Star

You may not know but my husband Erik is a very creative guy and is very young at heart. He is also a big fan of converse sneakers and has been drawing on them since he was a teenager. Well now he’s passed down his art to his daughter Sophia with these sneakers as a Christmas present. She loved them. It amazes me sometimes how talented he is.
I Survived

I am SO glad this all is over, or pretty much over. I can’t tell you how much happened in regards to family and stuff but you know, it’s a part of life. This is my usual bokeh Christmas tree, which is my favorite way to portray it since I did it last year too.
How I Celebrate

I don’t decorate. I don’t sing carols. I don’t write to Santa. I don’t do gifts. I don’t drink egg nog (ok that one is a lie). I don’t have a tree covered in lights. I don’t generally get into the holiday spirit.
What I do is go see a movie with my family tonight and get Chinese food. Then while everyone is filled with the spirit of the holiday I will be drinking one of these.

A Year of Fur

So now that 2010 is around the corner I thought I’d look back on some different parts of my photography and one big part is always the furry animals in my life. Included here are of course my girl Aurora, my boy Pilot, my nephew Gibson, sweet Simon, my parent’s dog Chelsea and boy Keyser’s brother Conan (Keyser died many years ago).
I swear, if I could make a living off of taking pictures of pets, that would be just what I’d do. It’s not easy to get a good picture of a pet but I love all the personality that shines out when you least expect it.
