So now that 2010 is around the corner I thought I’d look back on some different parts of my photography and one big part is always the furry animals in my life. Included here are of course my girl Aurora, my boy Pilot, my nephew Gibson, sweet Simon, my parent’s dog Chelsea and boy Keyser’s brother Conan (Keyser died many years ago).
I swear, if I could make a living off of taking pictures of pets, that would be just what I’d do. It’s not easy to get a good picture of a pet but I love all the personality that shines out when you least expect it.
I love them and I agree – they make the sweetest portraits in the world

And you do it so well! I love taking pics of my cats and my sister’s dog, too — but you’re clearly gifted at catching their wonderful personalities on film

People do make a living taking pictures of pets. You never know — it could be something in your future!
