Even though I’m not much of a religious person for me celebrating Jewish holidays sometimes, when the mood strikes me, is more of a spiritual part of me, like celebrating parts of my history. It was nice.

i think the story of the oil is a beautiful story. one of my best friends in high school is jewish and i loved learning a lot of things from her. she moved to plantation, florida (near ft. lauderdale) so i don’t get to see her that often.
the candle shots are wonderful.
