I have a lot of things I want to do as far as my photography this year. Now that I’ve had my first real solid photo shoot under my belt I want to do more photo shoots such as:

1. Couples – I really want to do more couple/love shots because I think they are my favorite. I don’t know who to ask, I know my brother and his girlfriend would probably be glad to help again.
2. Families/Kids – I really want to learn to photograph families of all kinds, with kids, with pets or whatever. This will be new territory for me but I know there are friends out there that would be glad to help. I’m proud of the shots of kids I’ve gotten so far.
3. Pets – I would love to do more pet photography.
4. Parties – I would love to go into the Portrait Party business but I need to sit down and figure out my plan of action. Plus, this time of year I cannot do nighttime as I don’t own any lights of my own to use for a portrait studio.

More than anything I need a plan of action because I can’t do this for free forever but I’m not in a position to charge what a lot of other people charge. Luckily my friend Jen has helped me out a lot and given me great advice. It’s tough when you work a full time job, travel way too much for said job and absolutely no funds but taking pictures is free so no matter what I will keep doing that!
