About Accidental Beauty Photography
I am a child, family, pets, couple and wedding photographer. Photography is a passion for me, I cannot ever imagine not capturing pieces of the world with my camera. More than anything I love bringing out personalities and making them memories.
I’m in a rut. I need to get beyond taking pictures of food, trinkets, my cats and my husband. There is almost nothing to shoot outside, everything is grey and brown. I’m really ready to get to the next season, for things to start happening outside. What do you do to break up the monotony?
So I want to share with everyone some great upcoming events for me in my journey of photography. I have some photo shoots I am doing for friends and it’s all for my portfolio because I feel I still have a long way to go. I don’t know if this is anything I could ever take on aggressively unless I could change my work situation.
I will be doing a family photo shoot for my friend Melissa on April 24th but location isn’t set yet but I have an idea. My friend reached out to me on my Facebook Fan Page saying she would love to have me take pictures of her family. I’m excited and in planning mode already.
I am also going to be taking the pictures for my dearest friend Iris whom I’ve known since Kindergarten’s upcoming wedding. In May (no date set yet) I will be taking their engagement pictures probably some place in Boston. I will also be doing her wedding in July (no location yet either as far as I know) somewhere in Massachusetts and then possibly her wedding in IRELAND if all goes as planned!
I’m also thinking of a few more pet photoshoots this spring/summer because pets really are a passion of mine.
When I know more information I will post updates. I am excited because I want to keep learning more and pushing myself a little further. Thank you for all your inspiration and faith.
This week the diptych is texture. The first shot is Shannon’s, which I think is self explanatory. My shot is of a sour belt, which is a candy. I love them so I don’t have them very often.

I was sitting around with my sister-in-law and we decided to have some coffee. Unlike myself, she takes her coffee black, so there was a lot of steam coming from the mug. Notice the swirl? It reminds me of a violin scroll.
Saturday I got to visit an old friend and see her growing little boy. I also noticed these tiny shoes, I couldn’t resist.
