Setting More Goals
Thursday, June 24th, 2010
So now that I’m conquering some aspirations of mine and proving to myself that I can actually do what I hoped I could, I have been thinking about some of the goals I still have.
- I want to shoot a wedding – this I know I will be achieving in the very near future.
- I want to shoot a wedding abroad – also this should be achieved in the next year or 2.
- I want to shoot a “trash the dress” with a bride (or even a groom too) – I think these are pretty rare to find.
- I want to shoot another maternity shoot, the last one I did was over a year ago before I got my new camera and before I had any idea what I was doing.
- I want to do a real pet portrait shoot.
- I want to do a kid’s birthday party, especially with the whole mess of a cake thing.
- I want to shoot a same-sex couple portrait, family or even wedding.
- I would love to do senior portraits for high school students.
Basically, I’d like to try to do any kind of portrait photography I haven’t done yet.
Catching Big Personalities

I’m having so much fun going through these pictures.
A Day in the Woods

I don’t know what I can say about this shoot, it was beyond wonderful. I got to catch up with my friend whom I haven’t seen in more than a decade. I got to meet her 3 awesome kids and got some of the best pictures I’ve ever taken so far. If there is one thing I’ve learned about photography it’s the more you keep pushing yourself the better you get. I couldn’t have done these shots without these kids though, as you can see, they were a blast to work with.
