About Accidental Beauty Photography

I am a child, family, pets, couple and wedding photographer. Photography is a passion for me, I cannot ever imagine not capturing pieces of the world with my camera. More than anything I love bringing out personalities and making them memories.

If there is one frustrating thing I’m learning with editing pictures of people it’s that they will look different from one computer to another and even more different on Facebook. It could just be my computer.

I have a long weekend coming up and I plan to get a lot of photography work done and some serious relaxing.

Here are a few more shots from the shoot. There is one picture I love so much but can’t seem to get the editing right. I think I need to take another photoshop class. I’ll just add that to the list of things I will do once I can afford it.

Sneak Peak: First Baby Session

Monday, July 26th, 2010

I need to learn to pace myself better or build a better stamina. I had an amazing day Saturday taking pictures for my friend’s new event planning business, then I had my first family session with a baby and after all of that I went to a get-together at a friend’s house. On Sunday my energy was shot and my allergies were only making things worse. More pictures to come this week but I had to share one shot.

The Glow Before the Storm

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

I love the way the world looks like it’s glowing sometimes when a storm is coming.

My life feels like it is in a constant state of change lately. Every turn something else alters and I have to adjust to that. When I started doing portrait photography all I wanted to do was to learn and grow as a photography, which I continue to do. I never expected it to take on the way it did but I love every minute. We’re also adjusting to the painful economy and will begin to learn how to live day to day without basic cable, which I don’t think I’ve ever been without my entire life. My life right now is about learning to adjust and I think that’s a good thing, we all need to take a few detours once and a while.

Step By Step

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Shooting a wedding is a completely different ballgame than doing a portrait session, this I knew but now I really know it well. There is a lot about doing the photography for  a wedding that is so wonderful. I love being a part of this special day and trying to capture unique qualities while also bringing out the joy. As I go through the pictures I learn so much and I’m so grateful for that.
