Here’s another picture of my lake. Today I plan to go out for my lunch break to do some editing and then I have a potential client meeting after work. Busy busy busy.

I had a photographer’s nightmare yesterday. No, not last night but yesterday because it was real. I went to go try to work on wedding pictures as I had edited most of them and found out that a bunch of my edits were gone. Poof!
You should know first off I had all the originals on my external hard drive but a huge portion of my edits were long gone. I think this happened when I moved over folders from my old computer to my new computer. What does this mean? It means I am set back a month of work pretty much.
I freaked out a lot at first but then realized that this kind of thing happens and at least I didn’t lose the originals. At least now this computer can keep up with me so it won’t take me as long as the first time.

I spent a lot of time Saturday just taking pictures, for myself, and it felt great. Unfortunately the session I had set for Sunday had to be rescheduled because of rain, I guess this something I will have to get used to. Enjoy some pictures I took of my lake early on Saturday morning.

Normally they would never nap that close together. They have plenty of other spots to sleep in but this time they both chose to sleep next to each other. If only they could get along so well when they were awake.
I have a busy weekend around the corner witha party and a 4 month old baby boy, have a good one.

Thanks to updated technology and some time with friends (and their children) I am back on track. It’s a beautiful feeling to be in control of your work again. You may remember this little girl from a family session I had a couple months ago. Oh and I did not tell her to do this pose in any way, this was all her.
