This week’s diptych theme is vintage. My friend Shannon chose a vintage ring, I love that she has a reflection with it. I went with a vintage camera I got once at an antique shop and have yet to use. Before I can actually use it I have to hunt down some film for it, it’s been a very long time since I’ve used film.

Normally I have Shannon’s picture on the left and my picture on the right but the profiles didn’t look right facing away from each other somehow. I will assume that all Shannon had to do was catch her son in a moment or ask him to turn his head. With Aurora she just turned her head in annoyance of me again pointing the camera at her.

This week’s diptych is the theme hidden. Shannon’s is on the left and mine (or myself) is on the right.

This week the diptych is texture. The first shot is Shannon’s, which I think is self explanatory. My shot is of a sour belt, which is a candy. I love them so I don’t have them very often.

The diptych for today was blur but again we just weren’t on our game for this. I do, however, think each picture is nicely done, just not exactly what I had in my head for blur. That’s ok though, it’s the thought that counts.

Also I want to note that my friend bought a photo of mine, one I particularly love from our trip to Ireland, and posted a picture of it hanging on her wall. Seeing this, just makes my week.
