The part I love most about doing this project is seeing how the other person translated the theme. My friend Shannon saw our weekly theme “fun” when she was dressing up her niece. I saw fun as the little figurines that my husband gave me for my birthday.

Ok, I’m even later on the theme this week, we really need to get a schedule together for this. We both did this last minute but the whole point of this is to make us think about pictures to take and to push ourselves a little extra once a week. This theme was thick and the shot on the left is Shannon, which is molasses. My shot, is the obvious thick book on the right.

We decided to veer off the path a little and do some of our own diptych themes, this week is calm.

The first shot by Shannon is from the bathtub and since I don’t have a bathtub just looking at that picture gives me a calming feeling. My shot was from my winter storm drive home yesterday, you can see the original here.
