tree

I am SO glad this all is over, or pretty much over. I can’t tell you how much happened in regards to family and stuff but you know, it’s a part of life. This is my usual bokeh Christmas tree, which is my favorite way to portray it since I did it last year too.

How I Celebrate

I don’t decorate. I don’t sing carols. I don’t write to Santa. I don’t do gifts. I don’t drink egg nog (ok that one is a lie). I don’t have a tree covered in lights. I don’t generally get into the holiday spirit.

What I do is go see a movie with my family tonight and get Chinese food. Then while everyone is filled with the spirit of the holiday I will be drinking one of these.

Stay happy. Stay warm.

This year I don’t know why but I decided to light candles for Chanukah (btw that’s the Jewish way to spell it) and it really brought me back. I even did a fairly pathetic version of the Chanukah prayers. One year when I was in like 1st or 2nd grade I was chosen as one of 4 kids to sing the Chanukah prayer in the concert that year. Granted, there were only like 20 kids in my grade (I was in Jewish private school) and only 4 of those were girls.
