A Party of Portraits

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

I came up with this idea: throw a party with a bunch of girls, include food, music and drinks and take their portraits. Actually, this sort of this has been done before but I’m not doing this to make money but to learn, totally free. I’m going into this with almost no idea how it will work but I figure since it’s a bunch of my friends it really can’t go wrong.

My sister-in-law is letting me use her place since my place just isn’t suitable for this kind of thing, my place is more meant for outdoor parties. We will setup an entire room basically as the studio with a background, lights and a stool to sit on. I will take turns with each girl and take a variety of pictures.

This is a new venture for me, one I hope I will learn a lot from.

g'day

There is nobody I love shooting more than my husband (and I mean that in the best way possible). Second to him is my furkids but he’s got such a wonderful personality that shines through every picture I take of him and he’s willing to do just about anything for a good shot, he’s a great sport. On top of that, he’s really hot.

Also, please see his site I am working on ErikGrausam.com.
