This month had it’s challenging moments. I was trying not to take so many pictures of my cats and everything outside was just so dreary. If there is one thing this project teaches you, it’s to step out of your comfort zone.

I’m in a rut. I need to get beyond taking pictures of food, trinkets, my cats and my husband. There is almost nothing to shoot outside, everything is grey and brown. I’m really ready to get to the next season, for things to start happening outside. What do you do to break up the monotony?

I was sitting around with my sister-in-law and we decided to have some coffee. Unlike myself, she takes her coffee black, so there was a lot of steam coming from the mug. Notice the swirl? It reminds me of a violin scroll.
Little Shoes

Saturday I got to visit an old friend and see her growing little boy. I also noticed these tiny shoes, I couldn’t resist.
Here Comes The Thaw

I’m so excited that I can feel spring coming. Not just visually all the snow going away and our lake thawing but I can feel it on my skin when I go outside. The actual feeling of spring on it’s way is hard to explain. Winter has it’s own feel, you can tell when it’s coming too. Anyway, I’m excited. I’m excited to not have to wear a jacket everytime I step outside, I’m excited that flip flops are around the corner and even more so I’m excited to get out in the world with my camera again full steam.
