If I can recommend to anyone who gets married to take a stroll (in your suit and gown) through the Long Warf Pier in Boston then I hope these pictures show just what I mean. It was such a great experience, all the people watching our every move only made it seem that much more exciting. The applause as we walked through the streets (granted it wasn’t for me but I can pretend) was about as cool as it gets.

While editing wedding pictures over the weekend I decided these were a couple others I just had to share. Also, if you are wondering, I edited the top picture to look like they are in space. The bottom picture was taken in the Theater of Electricity.
The Best Part

I was so happy to do the wedding this summer for my friend Iris whom I’ve known since Kindergarten. When I got to hand her the disc last week it was so great to hear how happy she was with my work. I am so glad that I could be a part of such a beautiful moment in her life, it means the world to me.
Here is the text she sent me after she saw the pictures:
I love them so much, I can’t stand it!

Bride and Groom in Boston
Thursday, September 9th, 2010

While parts of the day itself was challenging: another photographer invited to the ceremony (bride and groom had no idea) and my car dying on the way to the reception, it was an amazing event. The couple was so laid back and so much fun. They were up for anything. I will say this though, it’s quite phenomenal walking the Long Warf Pier with a bride and groom; there were applause and congratulations the entire time.
